Clowning - The Essential Ingredients!

Over this 3-hour workshop, participants will be introduced to the basic techniques of contemporary clown performance in a positive and supportive environment. Workshop topics include:

●     Principles of Clowning

●     Learning and Using Clown Logic

●     Introductory Mime

●     Audience Games

Participants will also be given the opportunity to create and present an act based
on the learning outcomes with the support of our renowned clown director, Jeff!

About our presenter

 Jeff is a contemporary circus artist that brings a lifetime of elite training to the stage. An alumni of the National Institute of Circus Arts, Jeff blends the refined skillset of a competitive athlete with the artistic flair of a Looney Tunes cartoon, offering a truly unique comic presence on stage. Described as a “comic multi-talent”, Jeff has performed in a myriad of festivals and productions, including The Barber of Seville (Opera Australia), Infamous Cabaret Cirque and appearances in the Adelaide and Melbourne Fringe Festivals.
