Little Players (Ages 3-5)

Our Vision: A community where every child feels safe to express themselves, builds confidence and a sense of identity, and gains life skills through positive theatre experiences.

Big Drama Adventures

At Child Players, we believe that drama is more than just acting—it’s about building the foundational life skills your child needs to thrive. We use “Big Drama Adventures” to build the cognitive, social, and emotional foundations your child needs for life.

In our Little Players drama classes children use their imagination to engage in Active World Building, where they use drama and role-playing techniques to immerse themselves in “big adventures”. This process not only allows children to develop their drama skills and build confidence; it also helps children develop high-level abstract thinking and problem-solving skills as they learn to navigate and influence the imaginary environments we create together.

Classes are designed specifically for children aged 3–5 yrs, where we turn every drama class into a "Big Drama Adventure." From exploring the Aussie bush to soaring through deep space, we use narrative-led play and drama adventures to make learning an unforgettable experience

Did You Know? Experts agree that imagination is not just for playtime; it is the "engine of learning." It allows a child to grasp mathematical concepts, scientific hypotheses, and historical events by "seeing" them in their mind’s eye.

Discover the Imaginary “Big Adventures”

Our unique "Big Adventure" format is an immersive, play-based drama experience where the children become the authors, heroes, and explorers of their own stories.

This process activates your child’s imagination and keeps them engaged, excited, and constantly learning. Every week we will actively engage in a different drama adventure, such as "Fairy Adventures", "Superhero Adventures", "Dinosaur Adventures" and more! We are only limited by our imagination!

How a "Big Adventure" Works

Early childhood is a critical window for cognitive development. By engaging in "active pretend play," children build the neural pathways required for complex language, abstract thinking, and emotional resilience.

Give your child the gift of a world where anything is possible. Watch them grow from a shy observer into a brave hero, all while building the essential skills they need for the classroom and beyond.

What Children will Develop:

  • Boosted Confidence: We provide a safe, supportive stage for children to find their "big voices" and express their unique ideas.

  • Building Active Imagination:We don’t just "play pretend"—we build the mental muscles required to visualise new worlds. Imagination is the foundation of abstract thinking, allowing children to see possibilities beyond what is right in front of them.

  • Creative Problem Solving:Whether it’s fixing a broken robot or outsmarting a giant, we encourage children to think on their feet and think outside the box.
