Singing Workshops
Term 3
Our Mission: To provide a positive and inclusive environment where young people are empowered, build self-confidence and develop essential life-skills through participation in the performing arts.
During Term 3, 2026 Dr Georgia Pike- Rowney is again offering small group Singing Workshops to Child Players ACT participants, supported by Dr Susan West on piano. In addition, Georgia will be running a NEW, limited series of One-on-One Singing Sessions to those enrolled in the Singing Workshops.
Places are limited! Only 18 places are available for Small Group Singing Workshops, and 8 places for One-on-One Singing Sessions. A waitlist will be available for those who miss out.
Prerequisites
Small Group Singing: All students must have participated in either our Holiday or Term Musical Theatre Programs, Child Play Program, or the Advanced Musical Theatre Training Program.
One-on-One Singing: In order to access the one-on-one sessions, students must be currently enrolled, or have previously participated in, the group singing workshops.
Small Group Workshops:
Capacity: ONLY 18 PLACES AVAILABLE
Duration: 6 × 60-minute weekly sessions
Day: Saturdays
Location: at Susan West’s home studio in Charnwood (address provided upon enrollment)
Dates: Week 1-6 of Term 3, beginning 25th July 2026
Time Slots:
1-2 pm
2.30-3.30 pm
4-5 pm
One-on-One Sessions:
Capacity: ONLY 8 PLACES AVAILABLE
Duration: 3 × 30-minute weekly sessions
Day: Mondays
Location: at Susan West’s home studio in Charnwood (address provided upon enrollment)
Dates: Week 1-3 or 4-6 of Term 3, beginning 20th July 2026

4.45-5.15 pm
5.30-6 pm
6.15-6.45 pm
Groupings and time allocations for group singing workshops:
When enrolling, participants are asked to nominate at least 2 time slots when they are available to attend. Participants will be assigned a group by Georgia based on their educational needs, skill levels, confidence levels, and their age. When booking, participants can nominate any individuals they would like to be in a group with, if they are aware of another participant enrolling in the workshops. While this is not guaranteed, Georgia will try to accommodate these requests where possible. All groupings are final and cannot be changed once assigned.
Timeslot allocation for individual sessions
When booking, participants can nominate preferred timeslots on the Monday afternoons and whether they would prefer weeks 1-3 or 4-6. While this is not guaranteed, Georgia will try to accommodate these requests where possible
What We Provide
Group Singing Workshops: 6 x 60 minute tuition
One-on-One Singing Sessions: 3 x 30 minute tuition
A team of professional music educators
LIVE piano accompaniment
Printed sheet music and/or lyrics that the participants can keep
Participant Requirements
Prerequisite: participation in either the January School Holiday Program, Child Play Program, or the Musical Theatre Training Program
No audition is required to participate in the program
Participants must be between 12-18 years of age
Cost
$300 for 6 x 60-minute small group workshops (max. 6 participants per group)
$300 for 3 x 30-minute One-on-One singing sessions.
Refunds Policy
Refunds due to withdrawal from the program will only be provided if the place can be filled from the waiting list. No refunds are available after the program commences. A 10% administration charge will be applied.
